It is an honor that God provides for the ministry of our JHOW through your generous & sacrifcial tithes and offerings. As stewards of those gifts, we honor both you and the monetary gifts you give through wise stewardship, ethical business practices, and accountability. It’s more than keeping the lights on and the gears turning; it’s about personal worship to God and handing Him back what He already owns. It's about seeing lives changed through the transformative power of the Gospel, both in our region and beyond.
Remember this: God loves a cheerful giver. At JHOW we dont believe in comparison giving or guilt giving. IF GOD called you to be a member of the ministry you should plainly do everything in your power to cheerfully contribute to the work of the spiritually family that God has called you to.
Additionally, what you give should be based on your ability, love for God and desire to see the membership where he has planted you to prosper. It is very important to consult God on this early and to be as cheerfully, sacrificially faith driven as possible. And always remember it is Faith that pleases God & faith without works is dead.
At JHOW your monthly contributions are one of the many ways you show yourself as a TRUE MEMBER. So whether your gift is $2 per month or $2 million per month, we honor you for your faithful, consistent, sacrifical and cheerful gifts that demonstrate that you are an authentic part of the family. Again, we do not compete in our giving, each member is only expected to give on the level that GOD has given them ability, faith and love to do.
Prayerfully consider:
2 Corinthians 9:7-8 “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart what to give, not reluctantly of under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?
